We had noticed this cafe earlier on where the fernicular station is for rides arriving from Citta Basa, Caffe Ferniculare, but it took us a little while to finally check it out. What a great place!

We went there just around lunchtime for a couple of drinks, we were now total converts for drinking Campari Spritz, a Prosecco, Campari, and Soda Water drink.
When the waitress bought us our drinks she also delivered a plate full of assorted nibbles, for free.

We ordered a second drink each, and the waitress asked if we wanted another free plate of food.....apparently what actually happens in many places in Italy is that if you just order drinks (at certain times of the day) you can help yourself to the arrangement of plates of nibbles on the bar, what the waitress was kindly doing, was bringing us a selection on a plate.
We actually sat there for close to a couple of hours just relaxing and taking in the scenery from the balcony.

So we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here, and decided to go back there for an evening meal, and had a lovely time yet again.
